I would highly recommend Bumble Bee Blinds. James was super helpful and informative throughout the whole process, from the design/selection to delivery and installation. He actually listened to what I was looking for and helped me make the best selection. He even came back so that I could take a second look at the shades I had selected because I had some decision anxiety. I met with and received a quote from a “big” company that was almost twice as much. Additionally, the salesperson for the other company was rude and told me that what I wanted didn’t make sense. The blinds were ready for install in 3 weeks, not 6–12 weeks like the big company. Thomas was friendly and efficient with the install. Very happy with the whole experience. Will be using them again when I’m ready to dress my other windows and would highly recommend.

After a terrible experience trying to buy blinds from a franchise I had used before (that’s a story for another review!), I called nearly every company I could find that offered panel track blinds. Most didn’t carry them, and the few that did required so many compromises they just weren’t what my wife and I wanted. We had panel track blinds in our previous home and loved them, so we knew exactly what we were looking for. After almost giving up and settling for roller shades, I did one last deep search using ChatGPT with some very specific prompts. That’s when Bumble Bee Blinds appeared. Oddly, they hadn’t shown up in any of my Google searches. I called with cautious optimism. The phone was answered by an AI assistant, and I’ll admit I wasn’t expecting much. Most automated systems are frustrating. This one was the complete opposite. The AI assistant scheduled an in-home consultation flawlessly. I never had to repeat myself, and when I started asking technical questions about panel track blinds, it immediately offered to connect me with a person. A few rings later, James answered. Within minutes it was obvious he knew his products inside and out. He answered every question I had, and it quickly became clear Bumble Bee Blinds carried the exact panel track system we’d been searching for. Even though I already had an appointment scheduled, James noticed he’d be working nearby later that day and offered to stop by with samples so we could confirm everything before the formal consultation. That level of customer service immediately impressed me. James arrived that afternoon with samples and brochures, walked us through every option, and helped us customize details no other company had even mentioned. We never felt rushed, and it was obvious he genuinely wanted to help us find the right solution rather than simply make a sale. I also complimented him on the AI answering service. He explained that, as a local small business owner, investing in a quality AI system was important so customers could always get help while he was with other clients. After experiencing it myself, I can honestly say it was one of the best AI customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Then came the biggest surprise. The quote was significantly lower than every other company we’d contacted, even though they were quoting products that required us to compromise on features and design. Assuming installation would cost extra, I asked what the charge would be. James smiled and said, “It’s already included.” The quote included the custom panel track blinds, professional installation, and removal of our existing window treatment. We placed the order immediately. That same day I received email confirmations to review every detail of the order. Less than three weeks later, I received a text that our blinds had arrived. Scheduling was easy, and the day before installation Thomas personally called to confirm the appointment. Thomas arrived exactly on time, was friendly, professional, and efficient, and before long our beautiful new panel track blinds were installed perfectly. My wife and I couldn’t be happier. From the outstanding AI customer service, to James’ professionalism and product knowledge, to Thomas’ excellent installation, every step exceeded our expectations. It’s always rewarding to support a local independent business, especially one that truly goes above and beyond. In the Denver metro area, too many companies promise great service but fail to deliver. Bumble Bee Blinds did exactly what they promised, communicated exceptionally well, offered a superior product at a very competitive price, and made the entire experience enjoyable. James and his team have earned customers for life, and I won’t hesitate to recommend Bumble Bee Blinds to friends, family, and anyone looking for high quality window treatments. We had a great experience working with James for our new SmartDrape shades. The final product looks beautiful and really elevates the space — the fabric quality and installation were excellent. There was a small communication gap around the hardware finish (bronze was installed by default, though we had intended to go with gold), but James was very responsive and proactive in resolving it. He immediately ordered the correct hardware and personally took care of the swap. I really appreciated how easy they were to work with and how quickly they handled the adjustment. We're very happy with the result and would absolutely recommend them!

He’s obsessive about quality—if there’s even the slightest imperfection, he sends the blinds back to the manufacturer and reinstalls them at his own cost to make sure the customer has a perfect experience. Recently, James sent Bruce out to give an estimate for my mom’s new remodel. Bruce did an outstanding job, and we honestly can’t wait for James to come install the new window coverings.
